A note from juliette

What started as a mindfulness hobby five years ago quickly became a business rooted in gift giving. And working in the world of gifting means I get to witness, over and over again, the kindness, generosity and intention behind the things we give to one another.

Whether it’s a gift for someone you love, something for your own child, or even something for yourself, I get to see the softest side of people. It’s intimate.

I’ve kept baby names secret for months. I’ve stitched pieces that celebrate new beginnings and others that carry stories of love, loss, memory and hope. Being trusted with even a small part of these moments is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

Clients often come to me with an idea born out of generosity, but somewhere along the way, they tap into a creativity they may not always get to use themselves. We choose colors, words, placement, tiny details. It becomes a little creative dance between us, and that part of the process is something I value so much.

Hand embroidery is slow and concentrated by nature. I hope each client and recipient can feel the care and love that goes into every detail.

We’ve done it together—bridal robes, newborn “home from the hospital” onesies, baby blankets, handwritten notes, farmer’s market bags, newlywed pillowcases, vintage napkins, bridesmaids pajamas, daycare totes, cousin pajamas, tablecloths, nursery art, sweaters, shirts, pants, shoes, hats, scarves and every version in between.

Gusta Embroidery has been a part of your memories, celebrations, milestones, and day to day magic and I am grateful. Thank you for trusting me with your gifts, your stories and your people.
